Quick Start
This page organizes the setup flow from the original manual into a single first-time sequence. Trackers and receivers are already paired at the factory, so normally no re-pairing is needed.
Before You Start
- Neko Nya trackers and the straps
- Charging dock and receiver
- Receiver antenna
- A computer that can run SlimeVR
Before first use
Make sure the trackers are sufficiently charged, and read Charging & Safety first.
1. Connect the Receiver
- Attach the antenna to the receiver.
- Connect the receiver to a USB port on your computer.
- Keep the receiver away from large metal surfaces and leave the area around the antenna clear.
Done when: the computer recognizes a USB device, and SlimeVR shows the receiver or tracker status after startup.
2. Power On the Trackers
Batch power-on
Place the trackers into the charging dock and press the left button on the dock to power them all on.
Individual power-on
While a tracker is off, press the side button on the tracker to turn it on by itself.
3. Install SlimeVR
Download and run the software from the official SlimeVR website.
Download issues
If the official channel is temporarily unavailable, get a verified installer through the product support channel. Never download software or firmware from unknown sources.
4. Confirm Your Devices
- Start SlimeVR.
- Confirm the receiver is connected to the computer.
- Confirm the trackers are powered on.
- Wait for the software to detect the connected points.
If the software does not detect your devices, see Troubleshooting.
5. Assign, Wear and Calibrate
Assign the trackers to body parts, then fix them in place following Assembly & Wearing. Before regular use, complete the SlimeVR body-proportion setup, full reset and wearing calibration.
Done when: the corresponding trackers and skeleton in SlimeVR move in sync with your body.
6. Power Off in Batch
While the trackers are on, press the batch power-off button on the receiver to turn them all off.
Receiver button
The metal button on the left side of the receiver is labeled SWO in the original manual. Follow the silk-screen marking on the actual receiver, and avoid confusing it with the SW0 button on the trackers and charging dock.
